The popular group is heard at its best on such songs as "September in the Rain," "East of the Sun," "Conception," "Tenderly," "Pick Yourself Up," and the original version of "Lullaby of Birdland.".

  4. This album is one in which a fan of both should own. Nancy Wilson has about 8 tracks with Shearing accompanying, and George Shearing 12 tracks. In a couple tracks Nancy's voice is not a sulty smooth as in later years. It's a little nasal. Two of her best tracks are The Things We Did Last Summer and The Nearness of You/5(52).
